A: You should measure the neck and around the chest.
Q: Is there padding on the chest underside?
A: No. That is where the Velcro adjustment is. The only padding is on the back part with the ring.
Q: Will this work as a lift?
A: The harness has a nylon handle on the back. You can use it to help your dog get on the car or stairs.
Q: Are these washable?
A: Yes but through hand washing and brushing it.
